Eyemart Express Supports Cancer Research with Stand Up To Cancer Fundraiser

Optical retailer will donate $5 for every pair of SU2C glasses sold July 1-Aug. 24

FARMERS BRANCH, Texas — National optical retailer Eyemart Express announces its ninth annual glasses fundraiser to support Stand Up To Cancer®’s (SU2C) cutting-edge research efforts. For every pair of SU2C glasses purchased at Eyemart Express stores from July 1 through Aug. 24, 2024, the retailer will donate $5 to the nonprofit organization, which aims to raise awareness and funding for research to detect, intercept, and treat cancers with the aspiration to cure all patients.

Starting July 1, shoppers can choose from the SU2C collection made exclusively for Eyemart Express. The unisex frame assortment features 26 styles—from classic metal rims to trendy clear plastic and colorful statement designs—that can be made into prescription glasses or sunglasses in as little as 30 minutes. Preview the full SU2C collection, with frames starting at $69.95, here.

“Our annual fundraiser provides a heartfelt way to remember loved ones and contribute to Stand Up To Cancer's lifesaving work, with the added benefit of promoting eye health,” says Katy Hanson, Eyemart Express Chief Marketing and Merchandising Officer. “We believe in the power of community and hope that this initiative not only raises funds but also brings people together in the fight against cancer."

Eyemart Express has pledged a $25,000 minimum donation to Stand Up To Cancer for this year’s in-store fundraiser. Since the inaugural SU2C fundraiser in 2015, the optical retailer has raised more than $750,000 in partnership with Visual Eyes Eyewear for the nonprofit organization.
