So for the most part it was a pretty good experience. The optometrist side was able to squeeze me in last min due to cancellations. Very appreciative of that. Didn’t even have to be dilated. On the glasses side for the most part it was a good visit. Was shocked at how much I had to pay after insurance however. I stayed well under my frame allowance, but for my lenses - it is like they didn’t cover anything for a good durable lens. We only get new glasses once a year. A lens in a pair of glasses goes through 365 days of continuous use. They are very easily damaged or ruined if you don’t get a good durable lens. But $500 for 2 pairs of glasses. That’s a car payment. I don’t see how this costs that much. I had a $10 copay 2 times. One on the optometrist’s side and then again on the glasses side. When the lady assisting me was ordering everything, no pricing was disclosed until it was time to pay. Had I known the pricing of things upfront and not been shell shocked with a $500 total I would have been more prepared. But the comment was made that their machine to do certain lenses for same day was down. I was simply told I could go to Hoover or Trussville if I wanted same day service. I had already explained to the lady that I used Uber to get there. It could have been said better but it is what it is. Overall. Good experience. Will I go back … depends.

I was lucky enough to find this place after dropping my glasses and the lens popped out the wonderful lady there had them fixed in no time

I was very happy with my glasses but the service I wasn't happy with . Normally you would get your glasses the same day that why it's called eyemart express, but the lady that helped me said that the machine that makes the transitional lens was broken so I got my 2nd pair and went home this was friday March 7 th. But what has me confused is why she tell me it was going to be two weeks and how it was ready the same day .You see I just by chance called today and asked was my glasses ready she said yes when I picked them up I asked her how when did they get ready she said march the 7th I'm looking like how when you said the machine was broken then when I looked at my text messages it said order 1of 1 is ready when it should've said 2of 2 that's why I didn't know it was ready.
