Schedule a eye test, gave them my insurance information, they didn't say oh sorry we don't take that insurance, waited to the date of appointment to tell me they didn't take it. I paid cash for everything, now been waiting for over an hour for getting my new glasses, it's not the workers fault, it's a scheduling problem, it's always short staffed. Will not be coming back.

CUSTOMERS BEWARE!! I've been a patient for three years, and my experience this year has been extremely disappointing. After waiting an hour at my initial appointment at 6 PM to be called back for treatment, I was told the virtual doctors weren't seeing anymore patients after 7 PM, and I had to reschedule. Appointment/Scheduling is handled by Eyemart Express. I am all about second chances, so I rescheduled for the following week. Drove 45 minutes to the appointment, went through the assessment again, prior to seeing the doctor, only to be told the provider does not accept my insurance so the exam would cost 3 times the amount of my insurance copay. Per Illinois law, your provider must notify you if they stop taking your insurance. It’s even more alarming that Eyemart Express refuses to take responsibility for its shortcomings and instead blames a third-party doctor, who has no bearing on the transactions that take place within Eyemart Express’s office. It’s incredibly disappointing and frustrating to waste five hours on two appointments that never led to seeing an actual doctor.
